FAQ

Q. How long will my beer take to arrive?

A. Australia Post estimate 2-7 business days, depending on where you live. We are sending from Launceston TAS (postcode 7250). If you gave us your email address when you ordered, you should receive an email with tracking information.

Q. Is this a subscription service? Is there a minimum order?

A. No, you don't have to subscribe. Each purchase you make with Ocho will be a one-off order of 8 beers.

Q. Can I drink the beer straight away?

A. We highly recommend letting the bottles settle for 24 hours in the fridge before opening. Have a read of our tasting notes to whet your appetite.

Q. I live in Launceston - can I collect my order to save on postage?

A. Yes you can collect from Saint John Craft Beer in Launceston - this is one of the freight options available if you're purchasing from Tasmania. Use the discount code "LONNYLOCAL" to save yourself $5!

We hope to offer the same service in Hobart and Melbourne soon.

Q. Where else can I buy your beer?

The vast majority of our beer is sold online, but we will occasionally send beer to selected bars, events, and bottle shops - keep an eye on our Facebook page to hear about it.

Q. Where is your brewery?

A. We are contract brewing at Van Dieman Brewing just outside Launceston (where our brewer Stu also works as assistant brewer). We don't own our own brewery.

Q. What beer will you release next?

A. We like to be creative in the brewery, so there will be a wide range of beers brewed, but they will all reflect our core values of freshness and drinkability - as well as being somewhat unique. We won't spoil the surprise before each release, but if you keep an eye on our Instagram there might be clues...

Q. I loved your <insert beer here>. Can I buy it again?

A. All our batches are one-off - some of them can never be repeated, due to seasonal ingredients etc. - and once they're sold out, that's it. However, let us know if you really loved a particular release and we will definitely consider brewing something like it in the future.
